O. Akinrele & Co. is a commercial law firm with over
40 years experience in the Corporate and Commercial sector.
The firm is led by two Senior Advocates of Nigeria (the
Nigerian equivalent of Queen's Counsel), namely, Chief
F. O. Akinrele and Mr. Demola Akinrele, who specialise
in commercial/corporate litigation and alternative dispute
resolution. There are two other partners in the firm,
Messrs Adedolapo Akinrele and Adamu Usman specialising
in commercial practice, each of whom has well over ten
years experience in the field and has been actively involved
in advising upon various and diverse international transactions.
The four partners are supported by eleven Associates.
Aside from its corporate head office in Lagos, the firm
has two associate offices in FCT, Abuja and Port-Harcourt.

& Co. has, over the past four decades, acquired
substantial experience in acting as legal advisers to
both public and private clients, including multi-national
and local corporations ranging from oil and gas companies
to banks, manufacturing concerns, aviation and shipping
companies.
F.O. AKINRELE
& CO. has, between the 1960s and 1980s, gradually
expanded its practice from a general law practice into
the specialized corporate sector and is now internationally
respected for its ability to provide specialist legal
advice & solutions, particularly to the Maritime,
Oil & Gas and Corporate sectors. The firm is currently
very active in the telecommunications and downstream
energy sector by virtue of the recent deregulation of
both sectors. The firm currently manages a West African
Network involving a Network of correspondence law firms
in 16 West African Countries (including Nigeria) from
Senegal to Angola.
